zero-g creative and the world’s first rock ‘n roll golf balls

At Zero-G we always relish the opportunity to work with something that is truly unique. PunkRockz and their Rock ‘n Roll golf balls are definitely one-of-a-kind. Not only is the idea of creating a punk rock golf ball cut from the same cloth as skate and snowboard gear a neat idea but the production of the balls utilizes a cutting edge process that has never been brought into this country before.

The opportunity to work with PunkRockz to bring this product to life seemed like about as fun a project as you can get.

We created a logo for PunkRockz followed by packaging, stationery, sales collateral and the company’s first web site. We wanted every project we did for PunkRockz to have a sort of “homemade” quality about it and so we decorated all our work with bits of duct tape, cardboard and marker doodles. The web site also features a low-tech “stop motion” animation of their signature golf ball spinning on a tee.

It’s always a gratifying experience for us to do such a wide range of work for a client in conjunction with a product launch. We thank PunkRockz for trusting us with their startup and giving us the chance to bring such a fun brand to life.
