helping north fulton community charities help others
North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) is an incredible group that has been caring for the neediest in the north Atlanta metro area for more than 25 years. In fact, they distribute food nearly 20,000 times every year on top of distributing clothing and giving over $850,000 in financial assistance.
But NFCC needed a group who could care for their brand the way they care for our community and Zero-G was up for the task.
The first thing we approached was the logo. Over time, the old logo had evolved in several different directions and several versions were currently in use throughout the organization. We set out to create a logo that was simple, elegant and could be used consistently across their various departments.
The new NFCC logo features four colored hands interlocking, representing the both the diversity of our community and the spirit of collaboration that has allowed NFCC to thrive since 1982. We also wrote the supporting tag line, “Together, we can help.”
The web site we created mirrors the themes of simplicity, collaboration and good will we incorporated into the logo. Bright colors were important because we wanted visitors to be greeted with a sense of optimism and hope.
Vonda Malbrough, Development Director at NFCC says, “It is a pleasure to work with dedicated and passionate individuals who go above and beyond to make sure that the needs of both our organization and the community are met… It is nice to know you treat your clients like family and continue to provide support when needed. Your personal attention to both the clients and details of the project really sets you and your business apart from all others.”
NFCC also named Zero-G their Business Partner of the Year for 2009.
We are extremely grateful to NFCC though for letting us into their extended family and allowing us to contribute in a small way to their tradition of giving in north Fulton County.
